GUSTAVO CONTEPOMI
Architect
PhD for the Universidad Politécnica de Catalunya


(Reconquista, Argentina, 1952) He conducted his studies at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina, obtaining his degree in Architecture in 1983. In 1988 his title was homologated in Spain and in 1999 he obtained the Diploma of Advanced Studies (Researcher), from the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science. Since 2009 is PhD for the Universidad Politécnica de Catalunya.

Combining his job as an architect, he also began teaching and researching at the UPC, Escuela de Arquitectura de Sant Cugat, Barcelona. He now teaches several master courses at the UPC Foundation and at several prestigious design schools in Barcelona, such as EINA or ELISAVA. He collaborates as an illustrator, along with relevant design professionals, in various publications that specialize in architecture. Teaching and researching is a permanent forum for reflection and experimentation to develop his work as an architect.
